About Event

Oasis, which began in 1971, is the annual cultural festival of Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. This event, one of the longest-standing cultural festivals in India, typically takes place in late October each year. Over the course of 96 hours, a student-run team manages a wide array of events spanning categories such as Dance, Drama, Literature, Comedy, Fashion, and Music. Each year, the festival adopts a unique theme, with the 2023 edition being organised with the theme "Grimoire Galore".

Pro Nites

Our Bollywood Night will be headlined by the legendary duo of Vishal-Shekhar on the 29th of October. We will also be hosting rap maverick KR$NA and EDM maestro Nucleya at our EDM x HipHop Night on the 30th of October. A stand-up comedy show called N2O, on the 31st of October, will also host India's top comedians, although the artists haven't been finalised as of today. However, past artists who've performed at N2O are Abhishek Upmanyu, Abhinav Singh Bassi, Biswa Kalyan Rath and many more.

How to reach Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences BITS Pilani

1. By Air: The nearest major airport to BITS Pilani is Jaipur International Airport (JAI) or Indira Gandhi Intl. Airport (DEL), both of which are approximately 200 kilometers away. From there, you will need to continue your journey by road.

2. By Road (From Jaipur International Airport):
- Upon arriving at Jaipur International Airport, you can hire a taxi or rent a car to travel to BITS Pilani.
- Follow signs for NH62 (National Highway 62), which connects Jaipur to Pilani.
- Drive south on NH62 through cities and towns like Churu, Ratangarh, and finally Pilani.
- BITS Pilani's campus is located in the Pilani town.

Please note that the travel time from Jaipur to BITS Pilani by road can vary depending on traffic conditions, so it's a good idea to plan your journey accordingly.
